This holiday, me and my family went to Jogja. I didn't really want to go there actually.. But, I've never been to Jogja before, so, That's not a bad idea at all to go there. The flight to Jogja was at 5 a.m. It was so early in the morning. We had to wake up at 3 a.m. and I was really sleepy at that time. It only took 35 minutes to Jogja. We arrived at 7 a.m.
Then we went to Santika Hotel. That was the place where we gonna stay. Santika Hotel is cool. It was located near Malioboro. We stayed there for 2 nights. After we took all of our bags, we went to restaurant to have breakfast. Then, we rent a car for 3 days. First, we went to Kraton Jogja. Kraton was full of people. The place was really big. We could see all the pictures of Sultan Hamengkubuwomo IX, took pictures, and it was raining, so we all got wet. After that, we went to Candi Prambanan. At 7 p.m., we went to the Church bacause it was Christmas Eve. The church was very crowded. We went back to Hotel at 10 p.m. by becak. It's kinda fun actually.
The second day, we went to Kaliurang to see Goa Maria and then we went to see Candi where we could see Yesus in Java tradition. We went back to hotel at 10.30 p.m. and I was very very very tired. On the third day, we went to Hyatt Hotel. It was a very cool Hotel. It's big and had so many facilities. We stayed there for 2 nights. But we didn't have room for 27, so, we had to use the junior suit and the price was very expensive.
After that, we went to Merapi mountain and Candi Borobudur. Candi Borobudur was really great. At 7 p.m. we went to Malioboro. All the stores at Malioboro were closed at 9 p.m. Then, we ate Gudeg there. Gudeg was delicious, but I don't really like that so much.
On the fourth day, we went to Malioboro again and we went to Mirota. I don't really like that place bacause the stores was very full of people and I was very tired. Then, we went to Dagadu store. We could buy clothes. They were cute and price were not so expensive. The price was about 50.000-60.000 rupiahs. After that, we went to Parangtritis beach. We went there at 4 p.m. so it's not hot at all. The wave and the wind were very cool. But it's almost the same like Ancol. The sand wasn't as clean as in Bali and the water wasn't clean. But I think it was better than Ancol. hwhw.. After we played at Parangtritis, we went to restaurant to eat. We finally arrived at Hyatt hotel. We stayed at Junior suit and it was soooooooooooo cool. The room was really big.. there were a living room, two TVs, one big bedroom, 2 bathrooms, etc. We took some pictures there. haha.
On the last day at Jogja, We spent our time at Hotel. My brother and my cousin swam there. The swimming pool was very very big and we could also played golf and tennis. We walked around the Hotel. We waited until 2 p.m. at hotel. Then we went to Airport and the flight was at 5 p.m. Finally we arrived at home at 8 p.m. and Iwas really tired.. huuuuuuuuuuuuhhhh... maybe that's all about my holiday.... >,<
